JUVEDERM

Juvederm is the world’s leading brand of hyaluronic acid facial fillers. Their visualiser tool needed redesigning to work seamlessly on mobile platforms.

Context

Juvederm is used to restore facial contours and improve signs of ageing. Diverse Interactive had previously developed a visualiser tool for them which allowed you to upload a photo of your face, apply regional treatments and get an accurate rendering of how you would look with fillers. 

The tool needed updating and redesigning for mobile optimisation.

Goals

The primary goal was to steamline the previous version and engage mobile users by creating a fun experience that would ultimately lead the user to search for a clinic.

Wireframing

There were a few fundamental improvements that needed to be made in terms of the user experience. 

Firstly the experience needed to be refined into a more linear journey. Previously, the user would be given the option to choose from different, slightly confusing presets, without introduction to the app or clear explanation of the process. 

The new tool needed to be intuitive and feature all the treatments in one place.

 
 

Branding

I used the Juvederm branding to create a set of homogeneous icons that would explain the treatments without typography. I also elevated the font pairings to be digitally focused and contemporary.
